Location: Indianapolis-based for one opening, with travel to project sites as needed. There is also opportunity within the National Erection Group for someone who can be based more broadly, provided they can travel where projects require.
Note: Must have 5+ years of directly relevant project management or project engineering experience, ideally in structural steel or precast erection. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to manage travel as projects require.

Job Description
- Manage structural steel and precast erection projects from award through completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, architects, engineers, field teams, and internal stakeholders
- Lead project planning, scheduling, logistics, erection sequencing, and execution strategy
- Interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, and shop details to support accurate and efficient delivery
- Manage change orders, RFIs, documentation, job costs, reporting, and project records
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, manpower, tools, equipment, cranes, and field activities
- Support superintendents and field teams with day-to-day project needs and problem-solving
- Drive project performance around safety, quality, schedule, communication, and budget
- Communicate progress, risks, and solutions proactively with leadership and clients
- Build strong working relationships across departments to keep projects aligned and moving forward
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management or project engineering experience in construction
- Strong preference for structural steel or precast erection experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong ability to read drawings, specifications, and shop details
- Experience with scheduling, job cost reporting, project documentation, and change management
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Detail-oriented, professional, and team-focused
- Valid driver’s license
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
