Location: Based in the St. Louis area with travel to project sites as needed. This is an on-site, field-connected Project Manager role, and relocation is not always required for the right candidate due to company-supported travel arrangements.
Note: Must have 5+ years of directly relevant project management or project engineering experience in general commercial construction. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Job Description
- Lead the day-to-day management of one large project or multiple smaller projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Drive jobsite safety, quality, schedule adherence, subcontractor performance, and client satisfaction
- Manage project budgets, costs, productivity, and financial reporting to support profitable delivery
- Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and subcontractor/vendor scopes to ensure strong project execution
- Prepare estimates, proposals, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes, and monthly project reports
- Coordinate project startup, sequencing, logistics, phasing, and constructability planning
- Work closely with field teams, subcontractors, clients, architects, and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving
- Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, walk-throughs, and turnover documentation
- Support business development efforts, interviews, and RFP responses for new work
- Help strengthen project processes, communication, and execution across both field and office operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management or project engineering experience in general construction
- Strong experience in commercial construction project management
- Ability to read and interpret contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Experience managing project budgets, cost changes, and overall project execution
- Proficiency with MS Office, PDF/drawing viewers, and project management platforms such as Procore, Vista, or similar
- Ability to create and maintain CPM schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Professional presence and the ability to work effectively with both field and management teams
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
