Job Description

  • Represent clients in no-fault arbitration and personal injury litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court filings
  • Assist in discovery, including gathering evidence, preparing witnesses, and managing case files
  • Prepare for hearings, mediations, and trials by organizing legal research and evidence
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Attend hearings and trials to support senior attorneys
  • Manage case files, ensuring all documents and deadlines are tracked and met
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to strategize and execute case plans

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Must be admitted to practice law in New York
  • Prior litigation experience preferred (internships or clerkships count)
  • Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow within the firm
