Known for delivering high-quality results and maintaining a commitment to safety and integrity, our client is seeking a Junior Project Manager / Estimator to support their growing operations.

Job Summary

This hybrid role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both project management and estimating. The successful candidate will support the execution of electrical projects and contribute to the preparation of accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management Duties:

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical construction projects.

  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

  • Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting, change orders, and client updates.

Estimating Duties:

  • Perform quantity take-offs and support the preparation of detailed cost estimates.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

  • Use ConEst software to develop and manage estimates.

  • Obtain material and subcontractor pricing and coordinate proposal details.

  • Assist with bid submissions, scope reviews, and handoffs to the project team.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in electrical estimating or project coordination.

  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

  • Knowledge of electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and residential construction.

  • Ability to read and understand construction documents and drawings.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ConEst or similar estimating software is required.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
