Ascension Search Partners is partnering with a growing organization to identify a VP of FP&A who can lead the finance function, and help shape the financial infrastructure needed to support continued growth.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for an executive who understands the operational complexity of a fast growing business and can translate financial performance into better commercial decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Own enterprise-wide FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, and performance management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, building accountability, capability, and succession depth.
• Partner closely with executive and operational leadership to improve visibility into profitability, margins, cost drivers, and business performance.
• Modernize and scale FP&A processes, systems, and reporting through automation and improved data integrity.
• Support growth, investment decisions, and operational improvement with rigorous, actionable financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related field
• MBA a plus
• Proven FP&A leader with experience in a complex, high growth environment.
• Track record of developing people, improving planning and reporting processes, and implementing systems that make finance more effective in a growing, fast-paced organization.
• This role requires both strategic perspective and the ability to execute. We are particularly interested in leaders who have built stronger teams and more scalable FP&A functions—not simply managed an existing process.
