A well-established, privately held construction organization is hiring a Controller to support their current and continued growth. This is a hands-on role for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the day-to-day, improving processes, and bringing structure to a fast-moving environment and has the desire to have a built in career path to CFO. The company needs a strong accounting leader with high detail orientation who can successfully manage financial workflows across development, construction, and property management entities. This role requires strong Excel skills and the ability to coordinate complex financial reporting, payroll, and project job costing.

Responsibilities
Requirements
• Experience in real estate accounting or construction finance with job costing or project based accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with construction accounting systems such as Procore ERP integration and OneSite, strongly preferred
• Familiarity with payroll processing and tax filings
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple entities and complex workflows, i.e. intercompany accounting skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
