Corporate Controller

A well-established, revolutionary, privately held SaaS organization is hiring a Corporate Controller to support the next phase of its growth. This is a player / coach style role for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the day-to-day accounting and reporting function, improving processes to ensure accuracy of the financials, story telling of the numbers,  and bringing structure to a dynamic, high growth environment. The company needs a strong accounting leader who can step in, partner closely with the CEO and CFO, and help mature the accounting function as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate and own the accounting function and integrity of the financial data and reporting
• Ownership of the accounting operations and analysis of the financials
• Ensure accuracy of the financials
• Provide transparency of the financials to the leadership team with the development of real time dashboards and financial analysis
• Partner with operations and sales to strengthen reporting and forecasting inputs
• Support operational accounting in a fast-paced environment
• Ownership of compliance, tax function, and external audit
• Drive standardization of accounting processes 
• Modernize workflows within the accounting department

Requirements 

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA 
• Accounting leadership in a fast paced SaaS company with 2+ years of experience in public accounting preferred
• Solid understanding of core accounting fundamentals including debits, credits, and reconciliations
• Experience with accounting systems
• Practical, hands-on, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Detail oriented
