Chief Executive Officer
Ascension Search Partners has been exclusively engaged by a highly sophisticated private investment firm to hire their Chief Executive Officer. This individual will be responsible for leading a complex, multi-entity organization encompassing private investments, structured financial activities, philanthropic initiatives, and asset oversight.

The CEO will serve as the senior advisor to the Principal, translating long-term vision, governance objectives, and financial priorities into scalable execution. The mandate includes creating institutional processes, building a high-caliber team, and ensuring the platform operates with independence, accountability, and operational excellence.
This role requires the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in an entrepreneurial setting where investment sophistication meets real-world agility.

Driving clarity and alignment between strategy, execution, and fiduciary responsibilities.

Serving as senior integrator across investment activities.

Overseeing portfolio-level strategy, liquidity planning, performance monitoring, and risk assessment.

Supporting complex structuring, negotiations, and documentation alongside external counsel.

Engaging in investment committee dialogue and high-level capital allocation discussions.

Act as trusted advisor in aligning legacy objectives with operating strategy.

Navigate sensitive and high-discretion matters with judgment and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Credentials

Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in a senior executive role within private equity, alternative investments, asset management, or an institutional family office environment.

Demonstrated oversight of complex capital structures and multi-entity financial reporting.

Strong understanding of accounting, tax strategy, capital markets, private investments, and enterprise risk.

Proven ability to scale teams and infrastructure within a growing platform.

Experience working closely with founders, principals, or ultra-high-net-worth stakeholders is highly valued.
