Ascension Search Partners has been retained to hire a transformational President/CEO of a DFW based cutting edge, custom-engineering manufacturer with decades of successful history. We are targeting a strategic, hands-on leader who can marry commercial excellence with operational discipline, driving profitability and sustainable growth. The business is a well established brand with proprietary technology, global installations, and a passionate team. Yet, like many legacy manufacturers, it faces untapped market potential and an urgent need to build modern sales channels and commercial momentum.

The new President/CEO will:

  • Lead a seasoned and loyal workforce into a new era of performance and accountability.

  • Build a robust sales and marketing engine to capitalize on cutting-edge, patented conveyor and shaker technologies.

  • Champion cultural transformation — balancing heritage with forward-thinking innovation.

  • Drive cash flow neutrality and profitability, ensuring the company funds its own future.

  • Collaborate with the ownership group to guide strategic investments, facility relocation, and process modernization.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership while staying close to the business — a “working President/CEO” who builds trust through visibility and execution.

  • Design and implement a market-driven growth strategy, elevating the company’s brand visibility and sales network nationally and internationally.

  • Partner with engineering and operations to improve margin performance while maintaining custom-quality craftsmanship.

  • Lead financial discipline, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure self-sustaining operations.

  • Recruit, mentor, and align a strong leadership team around shared accountability and clear performance metrics.

  • Continue to evolve the company culture toward transparency, discipline, and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

A commercially driven CEO or President with a track record of elevating a business to more profitable growth. You thrive in custom manufacturing — where technical complexity, customer intimacy, and operational excellence intersect.

You bring:

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including full P&L responsibility.

  • Proven success driving sales and marketing transformation within a manufacturing or engineered-products company.

  • Deep understanding of low-volume, highly specialized production and the ability to lead in non-repeatable environments.

  • A balance of strategic vision and hands-on pragmatism — you’re as comfortable in a boardroom as on a factory floor.

  • A collaborative, empathetic leadership style that inspires trust, loyalty, and performance.

  • An ability to build credibility with employees, customers, and ownership through authenticity and results.

Preferred:

  • Background in capital equipment, engineered systems, or industrial manufacturing.

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA a plus.
