Geographic Discipline Leader to join our clients Bridges & Structures team in Ohio! This is a remote position and you can be located anywhere in Ohio!
Bridge engineer experts partner with our clients to understand project objectives, while formulating solutions that result in successful outcomes that are safe, efficient, economical and sensitive to the environment. This highly skilled team of professionals offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning, and preliminary engineering through final design for small to large scale bridges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
- 10+ years of experience in bridge engineering is required; 7+ years of experience with preparing proposals, developing budgets, tracking budgets and the associated financial management skills necessary to run a team and monitor the performance of the business.
- Ohio PE license is required (or through reciprocity).
- Knowledgeable in best practices, trends, and other influences that affect CED and the environment in which we work, to maintain our position as an industry leader.
- Possess and demonstrate the ability to lead effectively and efficiently, plan, organize and manage procedures, protocols, and staff to achieve desired results.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Performs duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall discipline for their assigned geographic location.
- Collaborate with other GDLs within the region
- Active involvement with marketing and business development
- New business development and management/maintenance of existing clients.
- Manage financial aspects of assigned team(s) and monitor the performance
- Serve as a resource for project managers and staff
- Provide staff/managers with technical assistance and supervision
Salary $138,000 to $160,000
