CooperDouglas is partnering with a high-growth, large consumer and distribution company in seeking a sharp, strategic mind to elevate their FP&A function. This role blends classic financial analysis with hands-on business partnering across multiple divisions. As a Financial Analyst, you’ll act as a trusted advisor within the Finance team, directly supporting forward-looking decisions that shape profitability and growth. You’ll own forecasting, planning, rebate modeling, and operational analysis , transforming data into narrative-driven insight. The Financial Analyst collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to design better pathways to margin expansion and cost visibility. At its core, this role requires intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and the confidence to challenge assumptions.
What You’ll Do

Lead monthly performance reviews and forecasting cycles that distill complexity into action.

Develop dynamic financial models that clarify sales trends, rebates, gross margin, and operational efficiency.

Deliver KPI dashboards and executive-ready reports that spotlight growth levers, productivity, and risk.

Partner cross-functionally to improve rebate processes, discount tracking, and financial clarity between retail and distributor channels.

Contribute to quarterly strategy sessions with senior leadership, ensuring financial insights drive every major initiative.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

2+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.

Command of financial modeling and Excel; skilled in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive, Great Plains, or Dynamics365).

Comfort working with large data sets and translating numbers into clear strategic direction.
Compensation range: $100,000- $115,000 + bonus
Hybrid: Santa Fe Springs
