This organization is undergoing a major transformation centered around AI, automation, and building a more agile, forward-looking finance function. The Finance Manager you will play a critical role in shaping the future of finance within the organization. This position goes beyond traditional FP&A focusing on leveraging automation and AI, improving systems, and driving more strategic, data-driven decision-making across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Serve as a primary finance business partner to corporate and operational leaders, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional leaders, helping guide prioritization and resource allocation in an evolving, AI-enabled environment.
  • Lead sales and operational budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, leveraging automation and AI tools to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Deliver monthly budget-to-actual reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights, translating data into clear business recommendations.
  • Help modernize FP&A by transitioning traditional processes toward AI-driven and automated workflows.
  • Partner closely with internal AI resources to design, implement, and optimize finance-related automation and modeling solutions.
  • Play a key role in shaping a forward-looking finance function, incorporating AI into forecasting, reporting, and decision support.
  • Collaborate on the development of a finance-focused automation roadmap, prioritizing high-impact opportunities across planning, reporting, and operations.
  • Leverage AI and advanced tools to enhance financial modeling, pricing analysis, and profitability insights.
  • Support pricing, profitability, and operational analysis, including margin improvement initiatives and data-driven decision support.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and performance metrics, enabling real-time visibility into financial and operational performance.
  • Create executive-ready presentations that clearly communicate financial insights, business trends, and forward-looking strategies.


 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience in FP&A or finance operations.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, CPG, retail, or another product-driven environment.
  • Real AI fluency, with the ability to explain how AI tools have been used to improve finance or business processes.
  • Comfort working on automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with executive leadership.
  • Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting, or self-service analytics.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a lean environment.
  • Strong systems orientation, with familiarity in ERP, planning, or reporting tools.
 
Compensation
Base salary range: $125,000 – $170,000 +  bonus
