CooperDouglas is partnering with an industry-leading organization in Deerfield, Illinois to identify a talented Finance Manager. This individual will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic business initiatives, and partnering with executive leadership to provide meaningful financial insights. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and executive-level presentations.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance and strategic decision support.
- Develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and operational performance.
- Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, planning processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities in partnership with the accounting team.
- Lead or participate in strategic initiatives, business cases, and ad hoc financial analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional business partners.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, consumer products, or technology.
- Strong business partnering experience supporting operations and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated success driving process improvements and strategic financial initiatives.
Compensation: $140,000 – $180,000 base salary (commensurate with experience), plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
