Salary: $110,000–$140,000 + PAID Relocation

 

You’ll help build out a new on-site meat science lab, work closely with cross-functional teams, and support commercialization from concept to launch.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead meat and protein product development (animal and plant-based)
  • Design and run experiments to support commercial strategy
  • Evaluate sensory, physical, and analytical properties of products
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies
  • Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Sales, Quality, etc.)
  • Present solutions to customers and support sales with technical expertise
  • Help set up and maintain the new meat science lab

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (10+ years) or Master’s (5+ years) in Food Science or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on meat product development
  • Experience with meat sticks, cold cuts, nuggets, and breaded items preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients, manufacturing processes, and sensory evaluation
  • Skilled in problem-solving, data analysis, and communication
  • Team player who can manage multiple projects
  • Lab, pilot, and occasional manufacturing floor work
  • May require lifting, working in varied temperatures, and some travel

 

*Ideal Candidate will posses experience in meat application development, meat sticks, cold cuts, nuggets, breaded products etc.
