Compensation: $90,000 -$150,000 + Bonus + Relocation

 

Join a dynamic team as a Mechanical Project Engineer, where you'll play a key role in leading and executing engineering projects that improve equipment and production efficiency. You’ll bring expertise in hydraulics, mechanical design, and project management to upgrade, design, and troubleshoot a wide range of systems. From concept to commissioning, you will lead projects that enhance performance and reliability while working with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage multiple engineering projects, from scope definition through execution.

  • Develop project plans including cost estimates, technical specifications, drawings, and timelines.

  • Ensure project compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including company standards.

  • Lead installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

  • Conduct design calculations and evaluate proposals for machinery and services.

  • Assist maintenance and operations teams by developing solutions to reliability and maintenance issues.

  • Review and update documentation, including mechanical drawings and maintenance records.

  • Maintain clear communication of project schedules and updates across all stakeholders.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with diverse teams.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT/EI certification.

  • At least 3 years of project engineering experience in a manufacturing setting (heavy industrial preferred).

  • Experience with hydraulic systems and mechanical design in a production environment.
