We’re looking for a Partner Development Manager to lead the growth of our indirect sales channel by building and nurturing strategic partnerships across key U.S. markets. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying high-impact partnership opportunities, managing and scaling relationships with external organizations and individuals, and aligning channel sales initiatives with broader company goals. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in sales, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven ability to generate revenue through strategic collaboration. Key Responsibilities

•    Build and manage strategic partnerships with external organizations and independent sales representatives to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s indirect sales network.•    Identify and pursue new partner opportunities, generating qualified leads and fostering strong business development pipelines through third-party channels.•    Support and enable indirect sales reps by providing training, resources, and strategic guidance to help them generate leads and close deals effectively.•    Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that align with business objectives and create mutually beneficial outcomes.•    Step into close client opportunities when partners secure initial meetings but need additional support to convert leads into customers.•    Track and report on partner performance, delivering insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to optimize channel effectiveness.•    Cultivate long-term, high-impact relationships with partners to ensure ongoing engagement, satisfaction, and alignment with company goals.•    Travel up to 25–50% as needed to meet with partners, support field efforts, and strengthen relationships with prospects and channel collaborators.•    Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas by acquiring new clients through partner-driven opportunities and independently closing new business.•    Personally close at least two accounts within the first year to gain firsthand knowledge of the company’s solutions and sales processes.

 

Qualifications for this role:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Location: Must be based in or near Springfield, MO—this is an in-office role and not eligible for remote work.
  • Experience: Demonstrated success in sales, channel/indirect sales, partnership development, or business development roles.
  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain productive partnerships.
  • Strategic & Results-Oriented: A big-picture thinker who is focused on driving revenue and delivering measurable results.
  • Independent & Adaptable: Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Tech Proficiency: Experienced with CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Driven & Goal-Focused: Self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a performance-driven, target-based setting.
