Innovative, independently-owned long-term care pharmacy seeking a Business Development Representative to add to their team for Ohio and Southern Michigan.
The person in this role is responsible for development of business leads and securing new accounts for this top-rated pharmacy serving patients in long term care facilities. He or she will be responsible for: 
  • Setting and achieving annual sales goals
  • Maintaining database of prospective client information 
  • Educating prospective clients on all aspects of pharmacy operations  
  • Contacting facilities, establishing relationships and presenting solutions to new accounts and prospects
  • Oversee marketing program
  • Market analysis and identifying ways to expand busienss
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, seminars to develop/maintain industry contacts
  • Oversee the ordering, maintenance and development of sales materials and approaches for various markets
Requirements: 
  • Able to gain a thorough working knowledge of all areas of the pharmacy (dispensing, data entry, delivery, billing, consulting, and nursing) to speak effectively about all areas of service.
  • Personable with great communication and organizational skills
  • Motivated and resilient in the pursuit of new accounts
  • Creative in the development and use of sales tools and techniques. 
  • Enthusiastic and professional
  • Bachelor’s Degre
  • 5 or more years experience selling to LTC / post-acute markets
