Our client, an academic healthcare center in Philadelphia, is seekign to hire a Manager Pharmacy Operations. 

The person in this role is accountable for managing staff, operations, systems, and resources to ensure optimal results and high employee engagement. Major duties include:

• Continuous monitoring of pharmacy processes to promote a safe and efficient environment.
• Assures that the department is run according to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provides leadership for the overall daily operation of the Pharmacy in providing safe and effective pharmacy services.
• Manages the operations and functions of IV admixture services assuring that all operational and regulatory requirements are met.
• Develops and updates policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Monitors workflow on an ongoing basis and formulates strategies for continuous improvement
• Accountable for maintaining workplace safety.

• Pharm D or BS in Pharmacy; Pharm D preferred
• Minimum of five years experience in hospital pharmacy operations including leading projects and initiatives
• Sterile IV compounding experience
• Five or more years of Managerial or supervisory experience
• PA Pharmacist License, active and in good standing
