This role is ideal for an experienced Executive Assistance or Legal Assistant who who thrives in a small, dynamic, collaborative and growing setting.
Client Engagement: Provide superior client service, acting as a liaison between clients and attorneys via email, phone, and in-person communication.
Case Management: Follow up with clients on case status, appointments, and billing; handle potential clients professionally and confidently.
Administrative Support: Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal assistants to prepare correspondence, agreements, employee handbooks, and legal documents.
Scheduling & Calendar Management: Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule court dates, depositions, and client meetings.
Legal Support: Ensure timely court filings and assist attorneys in preparation for court appearances.
Document Management: Organize and maintain paper and electronic client files.
Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement and documentation standards.
Problem Solving: Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to workflow management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal software, dictation/transcription tools, and document management systems.
Experience scheduling depositions, managing calendars, handling expenses, and creating expense reports.
Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with employment law and legal terminology is preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills—confident, trustworthy, and dependable.
Professionalism: Stable job history, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
