Role & Responsibilities
Lead Solution Development & Architecture
- Customer-1st approach
- Understand server technologies, customer environments, and expectations.
Customer & Technical Engagement
- Collaborate with system architects and software, firmware & thermal domains as well as vendors.
- From leading technical engagements to hands-on support
Commodity Strategy & Supply Chain Optimization
- Develop & execute strategies for CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage & networking sourcing
- Collaborate with manufacturing and Ops to integrate components into production
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers & technologies
Skills & Experiences
- More than 10 years of relevant engineering experience required
- Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer, Architect or similar
- Experience with Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure) and Hyperscale Data Centers
- Deep knowledge and experience with Server Technologies including:
- Processors, memory, storage, networking, power systems
- PCIe, DDR, NVMe, OCP and Component suppliers
- Server hardware sustainability and regulatory compliance and procurement
- Server Architectures (GPUs, x86, ARM)
- Collaboration experience across engineering, operations, and business teams.
- Bachelors or advanced degree(s) in EE, CS/E, or similar
