Become a pivotal member of the Private Credit technology team within our Investments Technology organization. Support and collaborate with the bank loans, CLO, and distressed credit/direct lending investment teams, along with their compliance and operations counterparts.
Lead a local team of software engineers and business analysts dedicated to building, maintaining, and supporting applications for private credit investments. Play a leading role in a firm-wide multi-year technology transformation initiative, simplifying systems and architecture. Provide vision for future enhancements and process improvements.
Team Leadership and Development: Inspire and manage a team of technology professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide mentorship, coaching, and opportunities for professional growth.
Strategic Alignment and Communication: Ensure all initiatives are aligned with broader business objectives. Maintain clear communication with teams, business partners, and senior leaders.
Solution Design and Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT programs and projects. Collaborate with business partners across time zones to achieve successful outcomes.
Architectural Oversight: Work closely with architects to define and implement robust, scalable, and flexible long-term architectures for finance systems.
Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Partner with external vendors and systems integrators to deliver comprehensive solutions. Manage relationships to ensure alignment with portfolio goals.
Extensive Experience: Over 10 years in software development and at least 5 years in leading technology teams. Global oversight experience is highly desired.
Domain Knowledge: Expertise in private credit space (bank loans, collateralized loan obligations, distressed credit, etc.).
Systems Knowledge: Proficiency with Allvue Everest, Wall Street Office, or comparable systems used in private credit/debt investments.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of setting strategic direction, managing team performance, and fostering a collaborative culture.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Global Perspective: Experience working in a global, multicultural environment, understanding its unique challenges and opportunities.
