The role and responsibilities include 

  • Oversee daily operations.

  • Secure tenants for vacant units.

  • Empower residents towards self-sufficiency by connecting them to relevant programs.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to Uphold occupancy standards, verify the readiness of vacant units, ensure proper functionality of all equipment.

  • New Tenant Onboarding

  • Resident Support

  • Lease Management

  • Vacancy and Move-in/Out

  • Financial Management

  • Reporting: Prepares vacancy, move-in/out, and rent roll reports for Asset Manager.

  • Community Building: Works with Resident Services to plan and implement activities and programs.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Knowledge and Training:

  • Public Housing Lease, Admission & Continued Occupancy Policy, and administrative guidelines. 
  • Applicable local, state, federal laws, and HUD regulations. 
  • Public Housing Occupancy & Leasing, and Asset Management training. 
 
Communication and Leadership:  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and stakeholders. 
  • Ability to lead and motivate others toward strategic goals. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public housing property management (or similar)
