Our client seeks a highly skilled MRB Engineer to support the evaluation, disposition, and resolution of non-conforming parts, materials, and assemblies. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in structural and system analysis, regulatory compliance, and repair development, with the ability to collaborate across design, stress, and manufacturing teams to ensure safe and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • MRB Analysis & Disposition: Evaluate and disposition non-conforming parts, materials, and assemblies through the MRB process.

  • Structural & System Analysis: Perform stress and system calculations to assess the impact of discrepancies and define corrective actions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, stress, and manufacturing engineers to develop effective repair solutions.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure MRB actions align with industry standards, FAA/EASA regulations, and company policies.

  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and document repair justifications, rework procedures, and supporting analysis.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to initiatives to enhance MRB efficiency, reduce rework, and strengthen quality control.

  • Production & Quality Support: Provide technical guidance to production and quality teams regarding MRB-related issues.

  • Reporting & Records: Maintain accurate MRB activity logs, reports, and corrective action documentation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (or equivalent discipline).

  • Experience: Prior experience in MRB Engineering or a related aerospace/aviation engineering field.

  • Skills Required:

    • Linear Static Analysis

    • Metallic Stress & Mechanical Stress Analysis

    • Repair Stress Analysis

    • Stress Calculations

    • Material Review Board (MRB) Process

    • Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR)

    • FAA & EASA Regulations

    • Regulatory & Quality Compliance

  • Desirable Skills: Familiarity with CAD tools, PLM systems, and production support environments.
