Job Description: Accounting Manager-Bilingual

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our retail organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting and leadership skills, extensive experience in financial management for retail operations, and proven expertise working with NetSuite ERP. This role will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the company’s growth by enhancing financial processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.

• ERP & Systems Management

  • Administer and optimize NetSuite ERP for accounting and reporting needs.

  • Lead process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency.

  • Partner with IT and business teams to maintain system integrity and reporting accuracy.

• Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.

  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for leadership.

  • Track and explain variances between actuals and forecasts.

• Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Coordinate audits (internal and external) and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish and document accounting policies and procedures.

• Team Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.

  • Provide leadership in creating a high-performance finance team culture.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, merchandising, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

  • CPA or CMA designation preferred.

• Experience

  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.

  • Prior experience in retail or consumer goods industry strongly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP required; experience with integrations and customizations is a plus.
