We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead our company's growth strategies and drive market expansion. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and enhancing our brand presence in the market. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to shape the strategic direction of the company and align business development efforts with our overall objectives. Your expertise in market analysis, competitive positioning, and partnership development will be critical as you work to identify trends and leverage them to create sustainable revenue streams. As the Director of Business Development, you will oversee a dedicated team of professionals, providing them with guidance and support as they work to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in negotiating contracts and closing high-value deals, ensuring that the company remains competitive in the ever-evolving marketplace. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential partnerships or acquisitions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry leaders.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts with prospective clients.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align business development efforts with customer needs.
  • Manage and mentor the business development team, fostering a culture of success and accountability.
 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Must come from hospice sales
  • Must have hospice sales leadership experience
  • Proven experience in business development or sales leadership roles, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful business strategies.
  • Extensive network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of driving results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market research to inform decision-making.
