Environmental, Health and Safety Manager - Multiple Site

Responsible for managing the EHS function (80% safety & health/20% environmental) for (3) production plants in Tennesse and Kentucky with the main focus at their largest plant in Nashville. The role reports to the Director of Operations and directly supervises (1) EHS Generalist. Bachelor of Science degree required.

Key Requirements:

(5) years of industrial safety and environmental experience (manufacturing operations)
Experience managing direct reports
Working knowledge of environmental compliance
Bachelor of Science degree in safety or related technical degree
Located in the Nashville area

Position will continue strengthening their safety culture journey and enhancing programs such as ergonomics, machine guarding, etc. Need to create engagement and integrate manufacturing and plant leadership to drive safety improvements. Roll out corporate programs/systems and provide EHS strategic leadership by working closely with Corporate EHS.

Other Skills: mentoring and coaching EHS staff; unify, empower and give direction to employee journeys in the company, ability to inspire, energetic; ability to manage up and down: assertive and can set expectations; live safety not just preach; comfortable presenting and meeting with executive leadership. roll up your sleeves, hands-on approach with the ability to drive change effectively.
