Seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The PCU functions as a surgical step-down unit, providing an intermediate level of specialized care for complex post-operative patients. Role Focus

As an invaluable caregiver in the Progressive Care Unit, you will utilize advanced clinical skills to care for patients transitioning from critical care or those requiring closer monitoring than a general surgical floor. You will apply your specialized training to manage complex post-operative recovery, including advanced assessment, telemetry monitoring, and the titration of specialized medications. Your commitment to understanding, respect, and communication will be central to the patient experience.

Unit & Shift Details

  • Unit Focus: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Surgical Step-Down

  • Employment Type: Full-time (36 hours per week)

  • Shift Details: Variable Shifts

Compensation & Benefits Highlights

  • Hiring Incentive: Up to $18,000 hiring bonus available for eligible external candidates with at least 12 months of hospital acute care experience who meet all conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

  • Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience is required.

  • Licensure & Certifications (Upon Hire):

    • Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License

    • National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
