The Integration Software Developer will create API-led connectivity for integration needs across disparate systems within the organization. This is a hands-on role and will require expertise in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle and being closely involved in mentoring developers and in project delivery. In addition, having experience and being able to review code for performance and code quality will be required.
Responsibilities
 
• Design and develop new systems, as well as existing systems, with an emphasis on minimized maintenance requirements.
• Working with business partners, vendors and project delivery teams creating a roadmap of services delivery.
• Work with business, infrastructure, and applications leaders to identify the scope, requirements, and architecture of the project.
• Function as a Senior Developer, participating in meetings with Analysts and Architects to gather scope, requirements, and architecture of a project.
• Guide and lead global teams to coordinate projects.
• Review code of external and internal resources
• Keeps up on contemporary integration capabilities and products.
• Introduces new methods and lifecycles.
• Owns development and testing tools for integration.
• Maintain MuleSofts environment, patches, and system upgrades.
• Monitors run-time behavior and logs for risks and issues.
• Implements required configuration changes as needed.
 
Requirements
 
• 10+ years’ experience working within integration architectures and middleware.
• 5+ years’ experience working in MuleSoft in developing web-based, client-server and distributed architecture applications.
• Experience using SOAP, REST; Experience designing, integrating, and developing complex applications solutions using tools like MuleSoft, Anypoint Studio, Java.
• Experience with applications scalability and performance management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
• Cloud Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services); Domain expertise insurance and/or health care payer.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
 
• Ability to think big and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of the platform and tools on premise and cloud including the Microsoft stack, IBM iSeries (AS400) integration, enterprise content management systems, and SalesForce.com.
• Ability to code/problem solve.
• Knowledge of security practices and protocols and lifecycle for applications lifecycle.
• Leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups.
• Ability to mentor junior technology leads both internal and external.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to propose forward thinking solutions for future state.
• Ability to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate IT standards to meet business requirements.
