 What you will be doing:

  • Champion strategic product lifecycle management, driving innovative aerospace and defense solutions that align customer satisfaction with robust market success.  This includes being able to respectfully challenge senior management on why a new product should be made using market data even if they have already said no.
  • Lead market research, product strategy formulation, cross-departmental collaboration, and competitive benchmarking to solve complex product management challenges.
  • Provide customers with price quotes and technical information in conjunction with  the sales engineering team.
  • Work with the product development team to ensure clients are getting what they need and serve internally as their voice.
  • This position uniquely integrates market insight and customer advocacy, pushing the boundaries of conventional product management roles.

 

 What they are looking for:

  • BS in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.  MBA is a plus.
  • You will also come from either the wire / connector industry, aerospace industry or a high-end product manufacturer and have 6+ years of relevant experience
  • The right person will have product management, marketing, sales engineering background or be an engineer with customer experience.
  • You must have worked with products through their entire lifecycle, start to finish
  • Must have the ability to make decisions and be the voice of influence for their products
  • Product lifecycle management and market research skills are important.
  • Knowledge of aerospace and defense interconnect products is helpful.
  • Working Knowledge of project management methodologies and principles.
  • Able to travel 20% to visit clients and attend product shows
