Position Summary:
Seeking a strategic and results-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence. Focus on identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
Design and implement problem-solving techniques, Lean systems, and performance improvement initiatives.
Apply advanced Lean principles and Six Sigma methods to operations.
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Develop and deliver Lean/Six Sigma training for teams and leaders.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects and strategic performance initiatives, including new product development.
Promote efficiency and safety across all operational processes.
Ensure professional communication of business-related items.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 10 years in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of hands-on continuous improvement and Lean application.
5+ years in Operations/Supply Chain Management.
2+ years applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping and other process improvement tools.
Experience training and developing teams in Lean methodologies.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
