In this Hybrid position we are looking for Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for aspects of design and planning of projects; acts as Engineer on projects; represents client in meetings; supervises team of designers and drafters; may act as Project Manager on selected projects.

 

• Engineer on projects. Coordinating aspects of the projects with the Project Manager and Team Leader.• Responsible for the design and production of systems; including but not limited to attending meetings and site walk-throughs, performing site surveys, coordination with other disciplines/consultants, and preparation of narratives/reports, drawings, and specifications.• Assigned Engineering aspects of projects.• Technical content of contract documents, including drawings, specs, report, etc.• Reviewing conceptual design with the Team Leader and/or Technical Director for Completion of projects/tasks to meet dates on the job list that they are assigned to.• Coordination with the project manager and other team members on all technical aspects of the project.• Ensuring work is within the scope of the proposal and on budget.• Ensuring Quality Assurance/Quality Control process is carried out per RWS standards and informing Project Manager

Education and Experience:• 5+ years of Design experience in the construction space.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering• Revit• AutoCAD

Qualifications:

• Strong technical background, and knowledge of systems and their applications for various commercial, institutional, medical, and public buildings such as healthcare, biotech, higher education, office, and large mixed-use residential buildings and hotels.• Some knowledge and understanding of state building codes, energy codes and NFPA codes.• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients.• PE is preferred, not required.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
