Fire Protection/Plumbing Designer:
 
In this Hybrid Position, we are looking for that experienced Plumbing/Fire ProtectionDesigner will support the P/FP design team on projects in producing construction documents. Responsibilities include performing plumbing system load calculations; layout and sizing of piping systems; perform hydraulic calculations and equipment selections, as well as coordinating with architectural and structural building components.
 
Some of our Qualifications for the position:
• AS/BSME and a minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience in commercial, institutional, and public buildings such as healthcare, biotech, higher education, office, and large mixed-use residential buildings and hotels.• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Word and Excel.• Some project design coordination experience is preferred but not required.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 
Familiarity with The Massachusetts State Plumbing Code and the fuel gas code andNFPA standards in particular NFPA - 13, 14
