Top Tier Manufacturer is looking for a Cost Accounting, Senior Manager | Distribution | Inventory Pegging to join their growing team.  This is an excellent opportunity to establish and maintain standard reporting to improve transparency on working capital balances, costs, and profitability.  Field costing related questions from the business and auditors (both internal and external) including the analysis of pegging and costs movements.  Review journal entries, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations related to inventory.  Improve upon inventory reporting, including cost analysis at the material part level, labor and recalculation of G&A and overhead.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • CPA 
  • Internal control experience
  • Relevant experience in cost accounting or operations | manufacturing environment
  • Strong SAP expertise with an understanding of pegging and distribution in a complex manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to communicate and work as a team player
  • Ability to adapt to updated priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including a service-oriented mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in leading teams, guiding and directing resources, planning, forecasting, scheduling, and facilitation
 
This role will sit ONSITE out of the Salt Lake City, UT location.
