Job Description:

You will be responsible for the nursing care of assigned patients, including directing LPNs and Techs in patient care activities. Your patient-centered approach and ability to provide care to individuals across all age groups, from infants to geriatric patients, will be vital to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process, including Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Identification of Patient Outcomes, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation, to deliver high-quality care.

• Assess and monitor patient needs, ensuring a patient-centered approach to nursing care.

• Direct and support other healthcare personnel (LPNs, Techs) in the delivery of patient care.

• Collaborate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital staff to foster a positive care environment.

• Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting while exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.

• Maintain a professional demeanor and demonstrate excellent customer service skills in all interactions.

Position Requirements:

• Current Alabama RN License is required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred.
