Construction Project Manager – Industrial Installations

Ashton North is partnering with a leading infrastructure organization to recruit an experienced Construction Project Manager. This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground role managing industrial construction projects in Arizona.

Location: Casa Grande, AZ Schedule: Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT available during installations)Duration: 1-year assignment, with possible extension Onsite: 100%Pay Rate: $60 - $75 per hour

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Construction Project Manager with strong experience in industrial and commercial projects. You’ll oversee multiple smaller project installations, ensuring quality, budget discipline, and schedule adherence. This role is hands-on, focused on-site presence, inspections, and communication with contractors.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage multiple industrial construction projects across two Arizona sites.
  • Provide QA/QC oversight: inspections, documentation reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct walkthroughs to monitor progress, budget, and schedule.
  • Maintain quality documentation: submittal logs, inspection reports, “as-built” notes, and close-out packages.
  • Partner with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and contractual standards.
  • Deliver clear project status updates on quality, risk, and schedule.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of on-site construction project management or QA/QC oversight in heavy industrial or power plant environments.
  • Strong background in industrial and commercial project execution.
  • Proficiency in quality control standards, documentation, and corrective processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for contractor and stakeholder coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with strong inspection, scheduling, and budget monitoring capabilities.

Preferred Credentials

  • PMP Certification is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • QA/QC, USACE CQM-C, CCM, OSHA training, or equivalent certifications a plus.
