Director of Accreditation

$110,000 to $145,000+ Bonus + Signing Bonus + Full Benefits + Paid Relocation

This organizational leadership role is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing activities that support the institution’s ability to achieve and sustain successful accreditation at AHS, including ARMC, AFMC, AGMC, APMC, AMG, Home Health, and Hospice.

Acts as a consultant on interpretation of regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS); partners with AHS leaders to ensure a constant state of readiness; leads on-site surveys; advises on policy development, and educates health care providers on the relevance of standards supporting a culture of Zero Harm safety, high-quality patient centered care, and continuous improvement. Contributes leadership and assistance to enterprise-wide initiatives as a member of the Quality Division at AHS.

Required Educational Degree:

·         Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN)

Preferred Education:

·         Master's Degree Nursing (MSN) or master's degree Healthcare 

·         Administration (MHA) 

Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:

·         Registered Nurse with a current Ohio license,

·         Certified Joint Commission Profession (CJCP)

Preferred Certifications,

·         Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

Required Experience:

·         3-5 Years Nursing and 2-3 Years Healthcare Leadership

Preferred Experience:

·         5-7 years progressive Health Care Leadership

Ideal CandidateSomeone with 5+ years of experience with TJC accreditation within a multi-hospital system and at least 3 years leadership experience.
