Antitrust Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Location: Washington, D.C.

 

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm with a top-ranked antitrust practice, is seeking a talented Antitrust Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia. This group has a proven track record of securing victories for major corporations, including successful dispositive motions, favorable class certification rulings, and trial wins. Recognized among the Global Elite by Global Competition Review and honored by The American Lawyer, The Deal, Best Lawyers, and Law360, this practice is at the forefront of antitrust litigation and regulatory matters.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in D.C.
  • 3–6 years of substantive experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger clearance.
  • Experience handling government investigations, including FTC or DOJ merger or conduct investigations, and/or private antitrust litigation.
  • Strong background in compliance and counseling related to antitrust matters.
  • Prior large law firm or government agency experience preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in high-stakes antitrust litigation, including class actions, merger challenges, and competitor lawsuits.
  • Advise clients on regulatory investigations conducted by the FTC and DOJ, including merger review and conduct inquiries.
  • Provide strategic counsel on antitrust compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory approvals.
  • Draft and negotiate key legal documents, including motions, memoranda, and settlement agreements.
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement defense strategies in complex antitrust matters.
