Business Development Manager (Litigation)

📍 Location: New York, NY | Hybrid (3 Days In-Office)💼 Full-Time | Exempt💲 Salary: $150,000 – $175,000+ (Commensurate with Experience)

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead business development efforts for the litigation practice, working closely with key partners and the broader BD team.

  • Oversee strategy for pitches, credentials, thought leadership, and litigation league table submissions (no RFP responsibility).

  • Provide competitive insights and market intelligence to guide positioning and client targeting.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to attorneys and integrate cross-practice marketing initiatives.

  • Track ROI on business development efforts and report outcomes to leadership.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 5 years of litigation business development or marketing experience in a law firm.

  • Deep understanding of litigation trends, client expectations, and market positioning.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven ability to lead projects independently and think proactively.

  • Bachelor's degree required; JD or legal marketing experience highly preferred.

  • Strong candidates at the Senior Specialist level will be considered.
