My client seeks a Research Scientist to collaborate with senior leadership on studies evaluating novel therapeutics and genetic interventions for CNS diseases. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in pre-clinical rodent EEG and sleep neurobiology.
The ideal candidate will take on the following tasks:
· Master EEG methodologies and mentor research personnel.
· Design and execute experiments assessing EEG biomarkers in pharmacological and genetic models.
· Oversee studies including surgeries, dosing, and electrophysiological recordings.
· Conduct quality review of EEG data.
· Contribute to protocol development, study reporting, and client communications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
· PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.
· 3-10 years hands-on EEG experience.
· Proficiency in rodent handling and laboratory techniques.
· Expertise in EEG analysis including signal processing, sleep scoring, and seizure detection and technical knowledge of recording systems.
· Strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
