Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership & Strategy: Develop and oversee financial strategies, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to drive fiscal sustainability.

  • Accounting & Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP, nonprofit accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits.

  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Optimize cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee financial planning.

  • Grants & Cost Management: Monitor grant budgets and reporting, implement cost-control initiatives, and provide financial insights to maximize efficiency.

  • Team Development & Collaboration: Lead financial staff, provide training, and work cross-functionally with department heads to enhance financial literacy across the organization.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferred), with 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in nonprofit or multi-entity management) and 3+ years of leadership experience.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial software used for scheduling and reservations.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, compliance, and tax regulations.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze financial data, develop insights, and provide recommendations for operational improvements.

  • Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to mentor staff, foster collaboration, and communicate financial information effectively.

Compensation:

  • Salary: Starting at $75,000+ (commensurate with experience)
