\nOur Client is seeking a Laser Machine Assembler to join their team and play a hands-on role in building high-precision laser machinery. The candidate will assemble mechanical and electrical components, ensure adherence to quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement within an innovative manufacturing environment.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n● Assemble laser machine components and systems according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, and hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
● Use precision tools (torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, digital levels) to achieve tight tolerances.
● Operate overhead crane to move heavy components during assembly.
● Ensure compliance with company quality standards.
● Read, convert, and measure using both imperial (inch) and metric systems.
● Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to achieve team goals.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following lean principles.
● Follow all safety protocols and use PPE.
● Provide input for continuous process improvements.
Requirements:
\n● Minimum 2 years of assembly experience or 5 years in manufacturing, machine tool service, or maintenance.
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
● Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and part documentation.
● Proficiency with accurate measuring devices; strong attention to detail required.
● Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists preferred.
● Electrical wiring assembly experience a plus.
