What You'll Be Doing:

  • Review bid documents and coordinate with leadership to assess project viability
  • Prepare detailed unit price estimates using complex Excel-based databases
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and manage bid bond requests and front-end documentation
  • Collaborate with operations teams to transition projects post-bid
  • Manage multiple projects, balancing estimating duties with project oversight
  • Travel regularly to project sites and pre-bid meetings
  • Maintain accurate and thorough bid proposals, ensuring compliance

 

About You:

  • 5+ years of estimating experience in a heavy civil or environmental construction
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of earthwork, excavation, utility work, and demolition estimating
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
