The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for all Company recruiting and

ensuring that the recruiting needs are met in a timely manner. Ensure all HR

administrative and clerical duties are performed including employee files, new hire

paperwork, Union administration, health care, and recruiting. Maintain a high level of

confidentiality and exercise good judgment due to the nature of the sensitivity of

information within the office. Drive employee engagement within the Company. Manage

employee related questions and concerns. Support the CFO and CEO in HR related

issues as well as administrative duties.

 

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities (DO)

·       All recruiting responsibilities

·       Post job openings to various web sites.

·       Assists with screening applicant/resumes.

·       Coordinating in-person interviews.

·       Participate in the hiring decisions based on the cultural fit of a candidate.

·       HR administration including wage verifications and unemployment support

·       Respond to correspondence with various agencies

·       Benefits administration including COBRA administration

·       Assist with On-boarding of all new hires.

·       Assist with new hire form completion and application

·       Assist with Off-boarding paperwork and systems.

·       HR Reports that need to be cross checked and paid by the 15th of the following month

·       Benefits Reports, Union Dues, Medical, Annuity

·       401k, non-union Medical, AFLAC, Reliance

·       Recruiting and Temp Agencies

·       Responsible for all recordkeeping to include PTO tracking, reporting, employee files and information, and payroll.

 

Experience

·       High Level Computer Skills

·       1 – 2 years of human resources related experience

Job Requirements

·       Must be able to travel between Company Locations when necessary and with little notice if needed

·       Must be able to sit for long periods of time

·       Must be able to work on a computer for long periods of time
