Third-generation family-owned and operated Metals Fabricator seeks experienced Press Brake Operator to join their team. Will work in a state-of-the-art, 60,000 square foot facility that is one of the most modern metal fabricators in the world that cuts, forms, mills, welds, and finishes parts for clients in the aerospace, nuclear, medical, and automotive sectors, requiring extremely tight tolerances and industry-leading quality control.

Will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines, maintaining quality standards, and producing products within established specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Monitoring & Quality Control: Continuously monitor product appearance, ensuring it meets specifications, take corrective actions necessary to maintain quality standards, and properly document records and reports in accordance with work instructions.
  • Flexible Workstation Operations: May be required to work at different workstations, depending upon production needs.
  • Machine Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain press brake equipment efficiently, and be open to learning and operating other shop machinery and processes.
  • Physical Demands: Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and/or climbing throughout the workday.
  • Lifting & Handling: Frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 pounds.
  • Vision Requirements: Must have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Must have at least four years of experience with a brake press.
  • Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and moving heavy materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to closely monitor and ensure the quality of products produced.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
