Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Head of Marketing with deep experience in performance management to drive lead generation, campaign optimization, and data-driven strategy across digital channels. This role will work closely with the CEO, Content Manager, and Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-impact marketing that aligns with customer needs and supports our growth goals. This position is open to remote candidates, with an opportunity to work hybrid if close to our office.

Responsibilities
Overview: Oversee, develop, and optimize all core marketing channels, including SEO, AEO, PPC, email, paid social, referral engines, and content/LLM alignment, ensuring each channel is strategically leveraged, continuously monitored, and maximized for growth and performance.
- Campaign Analysis & Optimization: Analyze data from paid campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn to assess performance, cost efficiency, and lead quality.
- LLM/AEO Development, Launch and Optimization: Develop and manage comprehensive AEO and SEO programs, including defining key metrics, overseeing content alignment, and ensuring continuous optimization and performance improvement.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization: Track, analyze, and adjust campaigns daily to improve lead generation and conversion, emphasizing cost efficiency and ROI.
- Data-Driven Strategy Adjustments: Provide data-driven insights to the CEO, adjusting strategies based on performance and KPIs.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly track and report on KPIs, providing clear, actionable insights to the CEO and internal stakeholders. Create dashboards and presentations to visualize campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Content Collaboration: Partner with the Content Manager to define and implement content themes and pillars that resonate with target audiences and support demand generation.
- Cross-Functional Insights: Work with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine messaging, ensure alignment with customer needs, and address market pain points.
- Email Marketing: Design and optimize email marketing initiatives to nurture leads and drive conversions, integrating with other demand generation strategies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a hands-on, SaaS based business ideally in the HCM space.
- 5+ years in digital marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing, ideally in a SaaS B2B environment.
- Proven experience in data-driven campaigns, with a strong focus on lead generation and measurable ROI improvements.
- Proficiency in paid media (Google Ads, LinkedIn), SEO, and content marketing.
- Proficiency in key LLM solutions (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) with development and execution of AEO strategies.
- Experience with developing and executing paid social programs, specifically LinkedIn, and META platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in tools like Google Analytics, AEO solutions, Active Campaign, and leading CRM/Marketing automation solutions like HubSpot Experience with SEMrush, Screaming Frog a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Content, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and other teams to achieve goals.
