Northside Hospital seeks an exceptional CPA to drive financial stewardship and enhance patient care through strategic financial leadership.

We are recruiting a dynamic Financial Compliance Coordinator who will play a critical role in supporting the hospital's financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory and Tax Management

  • Develop and manage comprehensive tax strategies, preparing complex tax returns for federal and state filings
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance
  • Monitor and execute estimated tax payments across organizational frameworks

Financial Analysis and Strategic Insights

  • Conduct sophisticated revenue analyses across hospital departments
  • Design financial models that directly evaluate initiatives impacting patient care quality
  • Research and implement advanced financial reporting best practices and GAAP standards
  • Create detailed financial impact assessments for hospital-wide strategic initiatives

Audit and Compliance Excellence

  • Lead Single Audit preparations and federal financial audit requirements
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for project evaluations and external audit processes
  • Prepare comprehensive Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Award (SEFA)

Payroll and Benefits Compliance

  • Ensure precise payroll tax reporting and withholding accuracy
  • Manage employee benefit plan audits and required filings
  • Reconcile complex accounting reports with HR and benefits data

Research and Foundation Financial Management

  • Support Research Finance Team in sophisticated financial transaction management
  • Develop comprehensive financial status reports for research studies
  • Manage financial reporting for Northside Foundations and Authorities

Strategic Reporting and Organizational Impact

  • Leverage financial data analysis to identify operational improvement opportunities
  • Prepare detailed financial surveys for Georgia Department of Community Health
  • Develop strategic financial reports supporting patient care planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA license or eligibility within 12 months
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare financial management background
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and strategic initiative analysis
