Hiring: CNC Laser Operator

Our client, Fortis Security Products is seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our team in Greendale, IN. If you have experience with CNC laser cutting and a passion for precision, we want to talk to you!

About the Role:

Operate and set up a CNC CO2 Laser cutting machine.
Work with our production team on assembling parts and other machinery.
Utilize overhead cranes, calipers, and other hand tools.
Perform material handling and ensure safe operations.
Program nesting software to maximize material usage.
Read and interpret work orders and flat print drawings.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience with CNC laser cutting in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operations.
Basic computer skills and math abilities.
Ability to lift 70+ lbs. and stand for 8+ hours.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Must be a reliable and independent worker.
Must live within a commutable distance to Greendale, IN for consideration.

Shift: Full-time, Night Shift (Monday-Friday, 3:45 pm - 12:15 am) with occasional overtime.

Pay: $18 - $22 per hour, based on experience.
