JOB TITLE: Shipping and Receiving LeadLOCATION: Blue Grass Industrial Parkway, KYSHIFT HOURS: First Shift, Monday–FridayPAY RATE: $22–$25 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Lead to join a fast-paced food manufacturing facility located in the Blue Grass Industrial Parkway. This position oversees the entire shipping and receiving process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate handling of both inbound and outbound products. The ideal candidate will have experience with high cycle counts, inventory systems, and managing a high volume of goods with precision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the full lifecycle of shipping and receiving, including inbound and outbound product flow

• Ensure accuracy in documentation and physical product handling

• Coordinate inventory control activities, with a focus on high cycle counts

• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently

• Utilize ERP systems for inventory management (QuickBooks Inventory experience preferred but not required)

• Maintain compliance with all food safety and quality standards

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and accurate order fulfillment

• Maintain organized records and ensure efficient use of space and resources

• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

• Lead distribution processes with a focus on accuracy, safety, and timeliness

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in a shipping and receiving lead role

• Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics processes

• Experience working with small products and high cycle count environments

• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (QuickBooks Inventory is a plus)

• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment

• Forklift operation experience required

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or distribution setting preferred

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties
