Kismet client, American Waste Management Services, Inc., is looking for an individual to join their team as a Territory Sales Manager. They are a subsidiary of Avalon Holdings Corporation and are looking for an individual with a strong background in waste disposal and transportation requirements as it relates to RCRA, TSCA and DOT regulations who will develop business opportunities in Disposal/Recycling and Transportation services in the Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste markets.
Job Duties:
Provide direct sales efforts to potential customers in the region/territory assigned by Corporate. The region/territory may not be exclusive and other regions may need sales assistance as required by Management.
With the assistance of a Customer Service Rep and management, provide all aspects of a one point of contact for the customer with regard to sampling, analysis, waste profiling, paperwork, scheduling, and transportation.
Assist AWMS Corporate with Customer credit and accounts receivable when needed.
Work with current vendors to provide pricing for each waste stream/project to be quoted. Find new vendors for AWMS in disposal, recycling, beneficial use and transportation.
Utilize the AWMS software systems for Quoting, Invoicing, CRM and Projections. Excel, Word and Outlook are also required
Work from a home office location. AWMS supplies computer/printer equipment and other office needs.
Skills/Qualifications:
2-3 years in the Waste Management Industry
College Degree or Equivalent Experience in the Waste Management Industry
Knowledge of the EPA and DOT Regulations; Hazwopper and 8 hour refresher training
