We seek an innovative Power Semiconductor Engineering talent for a San Jose startup. Those skilled in either design and/or applications.
You will use your technical expertise in one or more of the following: AI Datacenter - HPC power delivery, 48V to PoL DC/DC conversion, hybrid switched-capacitor converters, or high-current multi-phase buck converters.
You will: Build a lab, the internal systems, the internal apps, do simulations, build and debug printed circuit boards, bring-up customer reference systems, and demo hardware. Architect and specify power specific mixed signal IP such as interface protocols and IP block register sets … Design and validate hardware emulation platforms for rapid prototyping … Develop and maintain scripting environment for lab equipment automation … Develop, test, and maintain reference designs and demo boards for customer engagement … Plan and execute application evaluations, leveraging automation for data collection and analysis … Engage directly with customers to provide technical support and promote product adoption … Provide system debug, board bring-up, and root cause analysis.
Additional: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation and customer-facing collateral. Strong lab proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, network analyzers, etc.) and scripting tools (e.g., Python) for automation. Skilled in simulation tools such as SIMPLIS and MATLAB/Simulink. Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout. Working knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly best practices. Develop C and Verilog code for microcontroller and FPGA based closed loop PWM controllers.

Compensation: $200K+ base salaries. Generous bonus stock – equity.
